Spring Camporee was an amazing camp out where the scouts of Troop 121 learned how to tie knots, eat outdoors, work together, and teach one another. I saw an amazing effort from the older Scouts of our Troop to teach the five new Scouts who had just recently joined. In fact, this was the first troop campout for many of the new scouts, but don’t let that fool you. With their enthusiasm and eagerness to work, not only did our troop place, both patrols placed taking home the second and third place award for the activities of the weekend. And let’s not forget, that’s out of 16 other patrols from throughout the district. That just stands to prove that if you give troop 121 a task they will deliver.
